Pay to post: limiting the number of posts

    A couple of questions....

Just trying to establish how I can limit the number of posts to registered users?

I know there are 2 possibilities when charging:

    1. pay to join, in which case the user's profile is not created until they've paid, or:

    2. pay to post, the post is not published unless there has been a payment.

So, if I choose the first option then I'm guessing that once the user profile is created they can create as many posts as they wish? Obviously I can set this so posts are marked a draft until approved.

Therefore, if I want to limit the number of posts I should go for option 2 and allow the user to freely create an account, and then charge per post?

Are there any known examples of this out there?

Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I have had none of my various questions answered. It's not like I'm freely spending my time post here, and I have purchased the dev license not once but twice!
