Payment Fails and Cancellations

  1. Good Day,

    I am currently using Paypal Pro with subscriptions and although I have not encountered this yet, I was wondering what process the script goes through on the following:

    Does the system send the admin a notification by email if:
    A payment has attempted to process and fails?
    A payment has attempted to process and cancels?

    Is the user notified by email as well?

    Or does is only the status within the admin updated to cancelled?

    Can you please update me on these functions?

    No.

    A payment has attempted to process and cancels?

    Also no, there is no email sent.

    The user is not notified by email.

    The only status update I am aware of is in the entry.

  3. Is that something that will be added to this Paypal Pro in the near future? Access is provided to a user based on successful payment, so if we're not notified that the payment fails, how do we disable access and in turn they can get access for free when there are a lot of users through the system it will be a little harder to track.

    Email notifications would help keep track of very important notifications like this.
