I'm using the PayPal addon and would like to send a custom value to PayPal. can this be done?

I have a form element called violation # and I'd like to send it to PayPal so the receipt has this custom value.

This would make it easier for the admin to match up the PayPal receipts with the appropriater form entries.

thanks very much. Awesome product BTW.

  2. Currently there is no way to pass an additional value to PayPal. We only integrate with the fields PayPal uses via their API, which are primarily the customer information fields and then the product fields. If you manage things from the Entries rather than PayPal you can see the PayPal transaction ID in the Entry for the transaction on PayPal.

i'm sure others would probably appreciate this.....

Is there a way to change the columns in the form entries page to include a transaction ID column, and update that with the returnd PayPal transaction ID?

Right now I have a client who is taking payment and their is no way at first glance to tell what entry belongs to what PayPal receipt.

It would make it so much easier to reference by Transaction ID. And this value is stored by Gravity forms.

Or at the least have the transaction ID included in the receipt sent by gravity forms. I have it set to send notification to the admin, but that is missing from the form entry in the email.

    Thanks very much.

  5. The PayPal transaction id should appear, if one exists, in the right hand sidebar. It should appear near where the payment status is in the entry detail. Is it not appearing?
