Paypal Payments Pro

I'm confused about your Paypal add-on. There is a note that says it doesn't work with the "new" Paypal Pro.

That link compares Paypal's current services. I have a Pro account. So, will your Paypal Pro add-on work with my forms? If not, how do I process payments? I simply want to collect credit card payments through a Gravity Forms order form.

Paypal changed their Pro API a little while back and so our current add-on does not work with their new API. We are hoping to release an updated add-on soon, but there isn't a workaround currently. Our Paypal Standard add-on still works as expected.

This revelation literally just wrecked my world. Working for a donation solution for a someone with cancer. Thought I had it by being a gravity forms guy. Now I'm like....NOOOOOO.

We have paypal pro. Any donation solutions for on-site payments? Anybody....!?

If an update will fix really soon I could hold off but if not I need to look elsewhere. I've looked around but can't find anything good. Thanks.

Some people have contacted Paypal and received access to the old Paypal Pro API, but I think they are doing this on a case by case basis. It might be a few more months before our new Paypal Pro add-on is out. It really took us by surprise too... sorry. Maybe look at the Stripe add-on? It won't provide you with Paypal Pro features, but it might do what you want. I wish I had better news for you.

Thanks for the advice. I will ask the client to contact Paypal for old API and I will look into stripe. Authorize.net works fine too, right?

Yes, our Authorize.net add-on is working fine. All my best!
