PayPal Pro: Address & Express

    Quick PayPal Pro questions:

    1) Do I need the address field for digital products? I do not need their address, but does PayPal?

    2) Is there a way to activate express checkout, so they can choose PayPal checkout if they prefer?

    Joel, I'm actually not certain if PayPal Pro requires a billing address or not for successful payment to go through. I do know from my experience with sandbox testing it does not - it only cared about the actual Credit Card information.

    In terms of express checkout - we are working to build that functionality in, however a short term fix would be to activate PayPal Standard alongside and then add a radio field on your form that asks how they would like to pay: (PayPal or CC). If they choose PayPal - you can enable a condition in the PayPal standard feed that causes it to kick in. If they choose CC - you can show the CC field via conditional logic and then set the condition in the PayPal Pro feed to kick in if they've chosen CC.

    I'm using PayPal non-pro without an address as my products are also digital. Works fine.
