PayPal submission not working

  1. Greetings,

    I am admin of http://pevar.com.
I created a form for people to order a CD.
See here: http://pevar.com/music/from-the-core/ (scroll down to find the form)

I had it setup with a Payment Option:
    - Check or Money Order, and
    - Credit Card via PayPal

I had conditional logic set on the Check & PayPal options
to show the related form for credit card
or the info for mailing in a check or money order.

However, I had added the price of the product both within the
form for the payment option and also the product itself
causing a double up, making it cost double for one CD.

So, I went into the form editor and updated it to resolve this issue.
However, it then caused the Credit Card/PayPal payment option
to get all frakked up... now it posts an error to the form
and doesn't send you to PayPal to complete purchase?

I have currently disabled the PayPal option on the form, as people were having issues
and I don't want that to happen any more for my client.

How would I go about fixing this PayPal issue? What steps do I need to take to resolve it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Cornflower of Inlightn Design

  2. Sounds like you need to update your conditional logic after you edited those fields.

You can also try exporting the form then reimporting it. That sometimes clears up conditional logic issues which are caused by editing the form after the conditional logic is set.

  3. Ah ha!
    Thank you Chris.
I will test this out and let you know how it goes.

Deep gratitude for the quick response.

  6. Thank you for your patience.

I attempted updating conditional logic... didn't work.
I then attempted exporting & then importing the form... didn't work.

    Any other solutions?

Thank you for your patience in my timing of working on this as I had other work items in my queue take precedence.

  7. In addition to re-importing the form, did you set up a new PayPal feed?

  8. No, I didn't... Right, ok. So I need to do that. Thanks for catching this detail. Will test that out today and will get back to you. Thanks Chris, so appreciate your assistance with this. Cheers.

  10. Ok, I went through these solutions 3 times now, starting from scratch each time...
It still is giving me this error message:
"There was a problem with your submission. Errors have been highlighted below."

Below is a screenshot of the issue:

    Any other ideas?
Thanks for your patience with my timing on all of this,
I have been very full with work.

    Thanks again,

  11. I have had to move the order form as the page now won't even allow the Check or Money Order option to work, and he has lost a bunch of orders because of it. Bugger...

Anyways, here is the link to the new order form page:

Thanks again for any and all help you can offer.

    Peace,

  12. I took a look at the form. It looks like it is configured incorrectly. I don't see any product on the form, and the total never goes up from zero. If the total is zero, the form will never be submitted to PayPal.

I would start over with a new form and build it very carefully, testing at each step of the way. This appears to be a configuration issue only as I don't see any JavaScript errors on the page and it looks like you are using the latest versions of Gravity Forms and WordPress.

One thing you can do, instead, is try to submit the form from the form preview. If it works there, but not on the website, it's probably a theme or plugin conflict. If it does not work in the form preview, it is likely misconfigured.

  13. The product is setup to a conditional logic with the payment option,
as that decides what product you get.

So you have to choose Check & Money Order (or) Credit Card / PayPal in order to see a product.

Then once you have chosen the payment option you get a product and the total will be set to $17.50. Then you have to add shipping which then adds the final amount, and you click submit.
When you click submit is when the error above happens.

Is there anyway we can speak over the phone, and look at this in real-time?

Anyways, let me know what you think the next steps are.
Thanks for your time and energy.

  14. I hope you haven't given up on me. Let me know when you have a moment. Please walk thru the submission process on the form and choose the Payment Option to see what is happening. Thanks.

  15. I've encounter the same issue on this website :https://www.nsec.io/en/register/

I'm actively searching for a solution.

    Form info:

    * PayPal form
    * have multiples products with conditional logics with difference price
    * One product field is displayed upon a user selection
    * When passing data to paypal, wrong product is passed

  16. I tried the work around proposed by Chris.
I removed Conditionals logic, recreated thems and that did the trick.
