Plugin update messages not shown

  1. Hi folks

Whenever there is a new version of one of my plugins, I usually can read the changelog or do the auto-upgrade. But since I activated Gravity Forms, I don't get the messages anymore except for GF. When I deactivate it, I see the yellow boxes on the plugin administration page again. This error still occurs with GF v 1.4. Can you please fix that?

    Thank you!

  2. Nobody else is reporting this issue, and we have thousands of installs. the issue is most likely something specific to your site. Are all of your other plugins from the WordPress.org repository or do you have some that are other premium plugins such as BackupBuddy, etc.?

  3. I tested it again on my other site and it seems to be a conflict between WordPress Download Monitor, available in the wordpress.org plugin repo, and Gravity Forms. When either Gravity Forms or Download Monitor is activated, it does only show the GF update message.
I will have to take a look at its code, because Download Monitor shouldn't do anything with the update messages when it's in the repository. Or maybe you can have a look, too? I don't have the slightest idea why it doesn't work...
