Populate Form Field with Data from Search

  1. Hello,

Is it possible to pass info from a web search to a Gravity Form on our site? For example, we serve a few different industries, and, rather than having a landing page for every possible industry, we would just like the Gravity Form on our landing page to pre-select a drop-down menu choice based on the user's keyword or the AdWords ad they clicked on.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

  2. I believe you can pass a custom field to the form, and use the data sent from that custom field as a field selector.

You would have to have that data available as a PHP variable to be able to pass it to Gravity Forms and thus make the selection or whatnot. If you can do that first part, then I can give you suggestions on the rest.
