Hi,can you give me some hints how to achieve this?
I'm letting only logged in users(authors) to use a form for custom post type.
Is it possible to prepopulate a dropdown(custom field name x) with list of all published posts(custom post type) by that author?

  2. Here is a snippet that allows you to populate a dropdown with a list of posts based on category. Try using this as a base for the customization you're after.

  3. David,

Do you have an updated link for the supplied pastie snippet?

The link should work, but pastie is down right now - http://pastie.org/

pastie.org was DDOSed twice last night. To protect it's network and other customers Rails Machine has decided to no longer host and sponsor the site.

I did not see this coming and did not expect my hosting company to just pull the plug so quickly.

I'm in the middle of RailsConf 2012 right now but working on a migration plan to deal with this.

Hang in there, we'll be back.

  5. Thanks for the heads up. I actually got my problem solved with the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin.

Glad to hear it. Let us know if anything else comes up. Hopefully Pastie will be back soon.
