Populating a form from a database

Hi, you'll have to excuse my ignorance, I know almost nothing about programming.

Can I use the user registration form to create a database of clients, and then can I use information from that database to automatically populate some fields on another form? I want to create a 'clients only' section on my website that has an order form on it. I'd like that order form to auto-populate things like name, email, ect, so clients don't have to re-enter that information every time they order from me.

Does this make any sense, and how would I go about doing that? Like I said, I'm not a programmer, so maybe there's a simple way to do it that I'm unaware of, but I appreciate any help or guidance.

    Thanks!

  2. If you're not a programmer you might consider getting some help with your project. You can find some help here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/how-the-job-board-works

It can be accomplished but not without digging into some code.
