Post Body not being imported into posts

I set up a form for employees to post wine tasting notes. When submitted, the submission shows up on the forms with post title, post body, category etc. However under posts there will be a pending post with the post title and proper category. However there is nothing under the post body it is blank. In the interim, they are copying the post body from the gravity form panel but they really need the post body to be imported into the post not just the form.
    The form is at http://wineworldwarehouse.com/notes/
Since it is an employee page it is password protected, the temporary password is password

  2. Did they use the Post Body field for the Post Body? If they didn't use the Post Body field, it won't be created. Only the Post Body field creates the Post Body when creating a Post. So it sounds like the form was setup using Post Fields for the Title, Category, etc. but not the actual Post Body.

Edit the field in the form editor that is supposed to be the body content field and make sure it has Post related options (author settings, post status settings, etc.), if it does not then it isn't a Post Body field.

Yes, post body was utilized. The contents show up in the form but not in the pending post. I have double and triple checked to make sure that it is a post body form element and it is.
There is a screen shot of the edit form page with the edit view of the post body

  4. I see you have the "Content Template" feature checked, but your screenshot is cut off so I can't see what was entered in the "Content Template".

My guess is your Content Template doesn't have the form field variable for that Post Body field included within the Content Template.

The Content Template override the Post Body field if it is active. Whatever appears in your Content Template is what will be used to create your Post Body if it is checked. So if you don't insert the form field variable for the Post Body field itself into the Content Template, it won't be included.

It works like this because you can use the Content Template and build the Post Body using other form fields while setting the Post Body field itself to Visibility Admin Only so the user doesn't even see it.

So make sure the Post Body field itself is being inserted into the Content Template using the "Insert form field" drop down to insert the form field variable for that field.

Thank you that worked but now the post images are no longer being inserted into posts. That was working until I put the post body into the content template. Any suggestions?

  6. You need to make sure your content template includes everything. You may have removed the post image variable, etc. The content template needs to have the Post Body variable AND any other field variables. Think of it as an HTML template. Whatever is in the Content Template is what is used to create the Post Bidy.
