Post Image Not in Media Library

I am using the GF field "Post Image" and the image is getting uploaded to the
    /wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/1/2011/10
    folder

But I do not have access it to from the "Media Library" upload/insert button on the post edit page.

Should I be able to? Is that what you mean by "adding the image to the posts' gallery"?

    Thanks.

P.S. I started a new topic and yes @Carl, I did check that I am using the Post Image field (not the File Upload field).

  2. Are you creating posts with the Gravity Form?

It could be a permissions error, not being able to move the image from the Gravity Forms folder to the wp-content/uploads folder.

I checked permissions on /blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/ and
    uploads, 2011, and 11 all "777".

The image is being uploaded to /wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/1/2011/10

Is it then supposed to be moved? Or copied?

  4. It should copy them from the gravity_forms folder to your media library folder.

However, up until very recently, there was a bug where the images would go into a date-based folder based on the date of the page that holds the form. So, if you created a page to embed your form in, in June, the uploads would go into the wp-content/uploads/2011/06/ folder, rather than wp-content/uploads/2011/10 if you submitted in October. That bug has been fixed and will be in the final 1.6 release.

Is it possible the images *are* being moved but they're not going where you expect them to?

I just tested with a form and the image went into the proper gravity_form folder first, then attachments were created of the various sizes, and the images are in my media library, however they are in the wrong date-based folder based on the bug I mentioned.

    YES! That's it. I am running 1.5.3.

The page with the form was created in July (even though I edited it to add the Post Image field this week!!) .. and there's the image (just like you said):
    /wp-content/uploads/2011/07/

    Thanks!
