this plug-in was included with a theme that I purchased and I don't mind purchasing a copy from you if required to make it legal. But, it does not seem to work properly. I have created a form and can find no way to go back and edit or tweak a field once the form is saved. sure the blue box comes up and says "edit" and "delete" but does nothing when clicked on. I need to delete the entire form and begin again from scratch. Also the paragraph text field is not capturing the data placed into it. when the form is filled out and sent I get all the other data except for what was placed in the paragraph text box. Again I have no way to go back and check the fields to make sure the proper settings are in place and no access to any documentation or information via your site. I would like to purchase this plug-in, but am not sure if it's working properly. I am running version 1.3.10 and WP 2.9.2
    Any assistance, please

  2. It doesn't appear that it is working properly, most likely because of something the theme that included it is doing. The issues you are having are most likely due to issues related to the theme or possibly with them making changes to the plugin.

Our plugin doesn't have any major issues that would prevent it from working so there is something else going on here.

If you decide to purchase the plugin from else we would be glad to help investigate why you are experiencing the problems you are and fix any issues you may be having so things run correctly.

We don't have any deals with any theme providers to have Gravity Forms bundled with it and wouldn't trust any copy you received unless you received it directly from us.

What theme did you purchase and from which theme site? I'm interested in finding out who is including Gravity Forms with their theme like this.

Thanks for the quick reply. Other then the issues I reported I do want to say I love the forms, they were very easy to set up and all the other functions worked flawlessly. I'm sure you understand that i was not aware this was not a free or bundled plug-in and I will surely purchase this if I can get the function correct. While normally a theme that must be purchased, the developer had donated the theme to me because I am a journalist working on a video documentary that has a national audience and is an issue he is personally passionate about. his only compensation is a designed by credit at the bottom of the pages. I'm sure he was just thinking he would help me out and I don't know that he is including your plug-in with purchased copies of his themes. So, actually I would just rather purchase your plug-in and have you help me get it working right if that is ok you guys.

    Thank you,
    Scott

  4. That is perfectly fine. We would be glad to help you resolve any issues. The ones you mentioned are certainly not issues that you should be experiencing and the fields should be editable after you create a form.

Once you purchase, go ahead and submit a support request and i'll be glad to see what is going on so we can get you up and running properly.

    Carl,
Thank you so much for the support. No need to reply and I guess we should have done this over e-mail instead of in your forum and I appologize for that. The paragraph text field does work, It just didn't like what I was sending in it. I am trying to allow users to submit youtube/vimeo video links. I know I would have to manualy enter them into a post, but i was trying to send the embed code which it wouldn't send (probably because it's html code) I did try to just send the link only and it worked fine. I still can't edit a form once it's built and saved though and will purchase and send a support request. Thank you for all your time. I certainly appreciate it.

  6. I don't see the answer on this but I think I'm asking something similar. I would like people to be able to submit YouTube embed code, and have it automatically create a blog post with the video, once it's been approved. Is that possible?

I am also looking to allow users to submit YouTube embed code in my form, and for the video preview to show up in their post.

Would also be good if after they've entered their embed code the video is previewed in the form.

    Is this doable?

  8. Yes, you can add YouTube embed code to your form in the post body field and it will display properly. As far as previewing the content in the form, no, that's not a default form behavior.

You could probably pull it off using a script like this one to echo the contents of the post body into an HTML block in your form to show a preview.

    Thank you Kevin.

I was more thinking of the ability to enter embed code into a pre-designated custom field. How would that be possible?

Thanks for the preview tip, much appreciated.

  10. Yep, you can put whatever you like into a custom field, but you'll have to make sure you include a function to display the custom field value in your page template.

    something like this..

    <?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'videourl', true); ?>

Ahh.. just like to point out that the custom field submission form doesn't like HTML! And so, video embed code is NOT making it through to the database, just text.
