Prioritizing Field Answers

  1. Anyone have a solution to how I might have a field that allows one to prioritize answers?

    Example
    Instructions: Re-prioritize the words or phrases below from most to least that best describes your opinions, beliefs and attitudes.

    What single ability best generates global harmony?

    1. ( 3 ) Personal empowerment
    2. ( 4 ) Knowledge
    3. ( 2 ) Fairness and equality
    4. ( 1 ) Kindness and compassion

    If prioritizing isn't an option, what might be a good alternative?

  2. Do you have an example of this being used on a web site that I can see visually?

  3. Sorry no. It's more of a concept.

  4. You could always try using select boxes (drop downs) then using a little CSS to restyle them. I did a quick test in about 5 minutes and came up with this...

    Screenshot

    This is the only CSS I added to my theme style sheet.

    #gform_wrapper_XX ul#gform_fields_XX li label {width:190px;}
    #gform_wrapper_XX ul#gform_fields_XX li select {width:40px;}

    Where XX was the form ID.
