When I try to MAP a "checkboxes" field type I see all the options, but not the Question.

I tried "priority support" a few weeks ago but got no answer...

  2. I'm not sure what you are referring to as far as MAP a "checkboxes" field type? Please clarify on what exactly you are trying to do and what the issue is.

Thanks Carl. Let's use an example to make things clear.

I have the following question at my form (a checkboxes question type):

    Wich colors do you like?

    And the following possible answers:

    [ ] Blue [ ] Yellow [ ] Green [ ] Red

When I try to map (match) this question with my CM base, wich have the "Preferred Color" field, I see among the options:

    [ ] Blue [ ] Yellow [ ] Green [ ] Red

    But I should see:
    Wich colors do you like?

    -----------------------------------

Can you get it now? Thanks again.

  4. We'll have to see how we can handle this. Checkbox fields aren't like drop downs and radio buttons. Checkboxes are actually individual form fields, even when displayed together. They aren't an array stored in a single field. We will have to see how we can integrate this with field mappings in the add-ons.

  5. Has there been any progress on this issue? Seems like this would be a fairly common need.

  6. Using brubrant2's example above, you would have to have 4 different custom fields in Campaign Monitor - one for each color. For the administrator that's not a big issue. However, when the customer chooses to manage his/her subscription options, it's a big UX issue (not to mention confusing) to have them select from multiple form fields.

Nearly all of my Campaign Monitor subscriber lists contain the ability for the customer to select which items/services they're most interested in. This allows me to segment my list for the greatest amount of focus.

A fix for this is greatly needed.
