product with user defined price and quantity

    I'm trying to add a product field where the user can define the price and quantity. If I add a product field as a 'single product' i have to define the price and user can define quantity. If I change it to 'user defined price', the quantity option disappears.

    So it seems like I have to add a separate quantity option which really doesn't look anywhere as neat an tidy as having both on the same line.

    Did I miss something?

  2. Nope, the Quantity field is only combined with the Product field automatically if you use the Single Product option which has a set price.

    If you use Dropdown, Multiple Choice or User Defined Price options on the Product field it assumes the Quantity is 1 because those are usually for single product selection situations. However if you need a Quantity option in those situations that is why we include the Quantity field.

    If you want them both on the same line you can use the Ready Classes to position the Product Field and Quantity Field side by side. See this documentation:
