Progress bar

  1. I'm wanting to add a progress section to my form but didn't know if I could do it. I've just used the the plugin for basic things so far but I was wanting to see if I could do this with Gravity.

You can see an image of what I'm talking about at http://www.qwertytech.net/form-progress.jpg

  2. It would be awesome if I could use the Section Breaks to make the titles in the progress bar.

  3. The multi-page functionality in the upcoming 1.5 release includes an option for a graphical progress bar, or either to specify the step names. You could use the step name, then style them to match your example.

    Here's an example of a multi-page form

You can grab the latest 1.5 beta version from the downloads page if you want to play around with it.

  5. Sorry for so many posts. After looking over the tutorial, how do I go about getting the progress bar? Do I need to do page breaks or section breaks?

  6. Kevin, I answered my own question on that one. Sorry to keep bugging you. My last only final question is how can I make two textbox fields appear next to each other? Do I need to apply custom CSS to them to make this happen?

  7. We also added some helper CSS classes in 1.5 to display fields in 2 & 3 Column layouts. You can get the details on those and how to implement them here.

  8. Kevin,
I've been reading your article on Survey Style Multiple Choices. I see you can do the survey items individually but what if you want to do a cluster of them? Say 6 questions with the same options and have them in some for of table? Didn't know if they way that was described in the article would support that.

  9. Each multiple choice item is still in a containing list item so you would have to get the id's of the containers and do some CSS magic and or make creative use of the inline HTML fields if you want to format them to emulate a table layout of some sort.

Does this rely on AJAX? If so, can it work without it?

  11. Not sure what you're referring too. The original topic was about the progress bar, then changed to CSS columns and survey style multiple choice items.

If you can clarify what you're inquiring about, I'll be happy to give you my best answer.

I'm sorry. Does the multi page form require Ajax? Or is it able to run without ajax?

  13. Nope, there is an Ajax option for the multi-page form as with the other forms if your prefer that, but it works fine with the normal submission as well.
