Public create post and upload pdf and autolink to download

  1. I think we asked about this a couple years ago. We have a few clients with forms setup so the public or their members can create a post by completing a form.

They've asked to attach PDF files and have them automatically linked in the post content area.

If the admin approves the post the PDF link is there.

Now they have to send an email to the admin for the admin to login, create the post, upload the PDF and post and it's wearing down the admin.

You should be able to do this using the Post Content Template: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Create_Content_Template

This allows you to take merge tags from other fields and place the values into the body of a WordPress post. Just make sure you wrap the merge tag for the URL of the PDF with some HTML and you should be golden.
