I'm using Gravity Forms on a Dutch WordPress install. Most of the terms are translated, except for Price, Quantity and Total, on frontend and admin. I tried adding this in .po file (several instances of price, quantity, total) and exporting to .mo, but no luck. The available Dutch translation plugin doesn't solve this either (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravityforms-nl/).
Could this be solved on a per-site-basis in functions.php?
Price, Quantity and Total are Field Labels. You can change them when editing the form. We'll see about make sure they are included in the POT file in the next release but until then, you can simply edit the field and change their Field Label.

Total is indeed editable.
I did not realize that is the string you were talking about. Are you running the final 1.5 release or a beta/development release?
We have found it and will be correcting this in the upcoming 1.5.1 update release.
