Recaptcha displaying incorrectly after update

I just updated to the current release, and when I did, one of the words in every recaptcha now displays like double vision. In the admin preview both words display correctly, but on the public site one word is doubled. It's very hard to read. I didn't change anything in my .css that should make it display this way.

  2. The reCaptcha text is an image generated by the reCaptcha service and wouldn't be subject to manipulation with CSS. The image is served up by the third party reCaptcha service and not something Gravity Forms controls. You can always try using the Really Simple Captcha plugin and then switching to that option for your Captcha field. It's a little easier to read in general.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I just thought it was a bit strange that the image displays differently in the admin and on the public site, that the issue begin the instant after I upgraded Gravity Forms, and that I don't have the problem with Recaptcha on any of the several other sites on which I use it.

  4. The admin doesn't actually load the reCaptcha field, it simply uses a placeholder screenshot. That's why it may look different. The Captcha image is completely controlled by their service though and not anything that Gravity Forms influences/changes.
