Redirect URL after PayPal no longer working after update

  1. Hi,

I just updated Gravity Forms to Version 1.6.12 and the PayPal Add-On to Version 1.6 and my Redirect (under Form Settings -> Confirmation) is no longer working. Now, after a successful payment, it redirects back to the original form page with a long querystring appended to the URL. I'm still testing this form using the PayPal sandbox but this just started happening after the upgrade...no issues before that.

I've also tried changing the Form Settings -> Confirmation to Text and Page and it keeps redirecting back to the original form page.

    Please advise.

    Thanks!
    J

  2. I can confirm the same thing. I have the same software versions. I was using the sandbox as well. I am using a redirect for my confirmation page. After completing the transaction in the sandbox, I clicked "continue" or whatever the button says at PayPal and I was redirected to this URL on my site:

    http://gravity.chrishajer.com/?auth=AHvdfl9JMfnDPt3HngWBvi0jDZH9ZrNsjqkWcV9o9aPeVT0ibRQFr4RKci3JX-FppdDM3Wwg3be1S4XGCM6rUrA&form_charset=UTF-8

The redirect was for a completely different site.

I will bring this to the attention of the development team. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  3. Thanks Chris.

Meanwhile, is there a way to roll back to my previous version?

I'm setting up my 1st form and want to use the redirect and am experiencing the same issue. I'm using version Gravity Forms 1.6.12 and Paypal Add on version 1.5. Is there a fix? Should I update to 1.6?

    Thanks

  6. You should not update to 1.6. Did this failure start happening when you updated Gravity Forms to 1.6.12? Or is this a completely new installation and it's not working?

Actually - it was my bad. I can confirm the redirect does work with Gravity Forms 1.6.12 and Paypal Add on version 1.5

  8. OK great. I thought the issue came up with the upgrade to the PayPal Add-on version 1.6. Please hold off on upgrading that for right now.
