Remember which fields were selected for export

  1. It would be great if gf would remember which fields I selected to export, so that when I come back to that form again, those fields are already checked. I know this sounds so lazy, but I have a lot of fields and I only need about half of them for my spreadsheet. If I accidentally check off an extra one or leave one out, the whole doc gets messed up when I append the data. Thanks!

  2. That's a neat suggestion. Thank you for that. I'll leave it open here.

  3. Is it just one form where we could apply some jQuery of CSS to help you out, or do you mean in general, a checkbox to "remember my selections"?

  4. Thanks for the quick response! A "remember my selections" checkbox would work well, since I have several different forms & spreadsheets going. Or, could you provide a way to change the order in which the fields are displayed/downloaded (as you can in the View All Entries tables)? That would be even better!

  5. We'll leave this as a feature request. Thank you for the suggestion.

I totally agree that this would be a very good feature.
Taking it a step further though, it would be superb if we could:

Create multiple reports per form and save them.
Select the fields we want in the report (as mentioned above)
Order the fields so the export is already in the right order.

Ordering could be drag and drop or even something like the AMR Users plugin does.

    [html]
    Include-------Field Name-------Order
    [ x ]----------Field 1---------[ 3 ]
    [ ]----------Field 2---------[ ]
    [ ]----------Field 3---------[ ]
    [ x ]----------Field 4---------[ 1 ]
    [ x ]----------Field 5---------[ 2 ]
    [ ]----------Field 6---------[ ]

    Cheers,
    Gil
