Remove drop down options if already selectd?

  1. I'm using GF for a registration form for a networking meeting and we only want one person from each category to be allowed to register for each event. I have e categories in a drop down with 'no duplicates' selected and that's working find, but I'd like to have the registered categories not show up in the list, if that's possible. How would I do that?

  2. I've never seen a solution posted on how to do this. It's been asked before, for registering volunteers for timeslots, simple inventory, things like that.

Theoretically, it would be possible to read the entries that have already been accepted for a form, then dynamically generate the drop down based on the categories which are still left/unregistered. It would be a customization but I think it's possible. I have not seen anyone do it yet.
