Resize at Upload Plus

  1. Hello,

I am using the plugin Resize at Upload Plus to resize images uploaded automatically to 620px.

This however doesn't work with the front-end gravity forms to create a new post.

Is there a hook I can add or code to use to make this work?

    thanks
    Andy

  2. ok checked every possible option and older threads - also used another plugin called "Resize at Upload"... I still can't get images to resize after they are uploaded.

any help will be much appreciated.

  3. How about setting the media sizes in the admin wp-admin/options-media.php to make one 620px, or add a new size which is 620px wide, and specify that. Is there a reason one of the media sizes will not work for Gravity Forms?

  4. not sure what changes i need to make to the file you mention.

Also i think, wordpress would just resize the image "artificially" to 620px which is not what I want.

the image needs to be actually converted and saved back to 620px in order to increase page speeds.

I think the best option is to use a webhook after the post submission to go through the 3 images and resize them..

  5. WordPress does not do it artificially. The image is saved in all four sizes: original, large, medium and thumbnail, in the sizes you specify on the media setting pages.

Here is an image I uploaded for some reason:

Here are the resized ones which were created by WordPress:
