  2. You're using one of the release candidates with Akismet turned on?

The only thing I can find is a gform_akismet_fields filter, to change what information is sent to Akismet. In my installation, I don't even see the spam status, and there are no configuration options. I think if you have an Akismet key for comment spam, Gravity Forms picks up on that and uses it.

Oh, that's why I don't see it. I never activated Akismet.

  3. it doesn't really look like this question was answered and I have the same question/problem. I'm using the latest release of GF (from the last available plugin update) and I have akismet activated. I have no "spam honeypot" options checked.

Using the user registration addon ALL SIGNUPS go to spam. Even my own tests with alternate email. As you say (Chris) there is no option at all to either enable / use / disable / or configure how GF uses Akismet (or if it does).

This is a complete pain to have to check the spam items for the form daily and then people have to wait (and don't come back). My only solution is to disable Akismet (which I don't want to do).

I'd rather just check a box to tell GF not to use Akismet so it could still handle my blog comments.

Can we get some help on this issue?

  4. Andy or John,

I need your help in troubleshooting this issue further. Could you provide me with the following:

    1. An export of one of the forms where you are having the spam issue
    2. An export of entries for the form having the problem

With this information I can then try to reproduce the issue and further troubleshoot. Please attach those files to an email and send them to dana@rocketgenius.com

    Thanks!

  5. We have added a filter to GF that allows you to disable Akismet integration globally or per form.

This won't be publicly available until 1.6.3; however, I will send you (an anyone else who would like to use this hook) an updated version of the plugin. Send an email to dana@rocketgenius.com if you're interested.
