Same form, different email address on each post

  1. I have several dancer profiles on my website. I'd like to set up a form so a visitor can click a "book a belly dancer" button on a specific profile, and it will create an email to that dancer.

I'd like to use the same form for all of them but somehow have the email address of that dancer automatically populate.

I'm going to have to edit each post anyway to add the button, is there a shortcode which would do the trick, rather than me having to add code to my theme (as I suck at that and never know where to put it)?

  2. Yep, if you're using one form for all of them you can do that - it's called notification routing and you can do that where you set up your form notifications.

First, create your drop-down/select field with your options

Then, select the "routing" option under the admin notifications and set up your conditions

That's all you need to do get it rolling.

  3. Hmm, not sure if that would work. Do I understand that the sender has to select the dancer from a drop-down box? As there are 150 of them, that might be a bit much - I'd like the system to select the dancer based on which post the link is on.
