Searching & returning results captured by Gravity Forms

Hi there,
Ok, so I'm not sure where to start with this, so bear with me while I try to explain what I want to do.
It's a 2 phase project around employment.
First phase captures data.
For instance;
Contact details (name, address, email etc) = text fields
Region etc = select
Others to be multi select, drop-down - that kinda thing.
So obviously grabbing that kind of data via Gravity Forms is a no brainer.
Second Phase
Searching & return results based on the information captured in phase one = how?
Can I build something like this with Gravity Forms - or do I need to look for some other means of searching & returning results from the tables of data generated in phase one?
I'm more than happy to look at another plugin to do this, if you think there is something better suited?
If there is - any recommendations?
Does any of that make sense at all - even in a very loose kinda way?
