    I'm working on getting a PayPal donation form set up on a website for a political campaign. Per FEC requirements, I need to collect the Occupation and Employer of each person donating. I've got my form collecting this data correctly, but I'd like it to get passed to PayPal using either the "Custom" field or the "Option" fields, as described in this doc from PayPal: https://merchant.paypal.com/cms_content/US/en_US/files/merchant/collecting_fec_required_donor_data.pdf

    Any idea on how I can get this data sent over to PayPal so the Treasurer doesn't get incredibly frustrated?

    Gravity Forms only passes data from the Option Fields under Pricing Fields to PayPal. Options are options of a Product. So it's already using the PayPal Options. There isn't currently a way to pass any other kind of information.

    Gravity Forms and the PayPal Add-On are designed so that PayPal only captures and handles the payment. The entry created by Gravity Forms contains all of the details. So the entry is going to have the details and specifics on the donation itself.

    Is there any chance that sending additional fields may be added as an option? Specifically, I would like to see the ability to send the Phone Number field. The reason being that PayPal REQUIRES the phone number be entered if the user is paying with a credit card. So, as it is the user has to re-enter his/her phone number on the PayPal site even though it was already entered on our website. If not, any pointers on where to look in the plugin code to add this?
