Send Email Notification to Users Submitting Form

    Hello,

I'm trying to configure my form to allow an email to be generated automatically and sent to the user after they submit a form. I read through the documentation on "Notifications", but the screens do not look like mine do. I'm running the most recent version of Gravity Forms. I can't seem to find the check box to allow emails notifications to be sent to users. Has this been changed?

I then tried to create a new notification for my form, but I do not see an obvious choice as to how send an email back to the user who submitted a form. I see a text box to enter who to send the email to. Is there a shortcode that I can enter here for the user's email address?

Also, is there any way that the response email can be written to create a Microsoft Outlook meeting request so when a user gets their resposne email, they can click the link and have their Outlook Calendar updated automatically?

    Thank You.

There should be a down arrow button to the right of the field. Click that and it lets you select a field merge tag from your form. If you are collecting their e-mail address, you can embed the merge tag and have it work as you expect.

    David,
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, there are drop down arrows on "From Name", "From Email", and "Reply To" fields. There is no arrow in the "Send to Email" field.

I posted a screen shot of the form page and posted it here:

The link to the actual form is:

    Am I missing something?

    Thank You.

  4. You would want to choose the "Select a field" option so you can choose a field from the form. Right now you have the "Enter Email" option selected which requires a manual entry.
