Sending email notification of form being completed

  1. I would like to receive an email notification whenever someone completes a form. The setting seem to be very simple yet and I have completed them in the most obvious way, yet I am not receiving email notification whenever someone completes a form. Can you please advise the correct settings for this so I can start receiving these emails? Thanks.

  2. You need to read the Notification part of the documentation.

And make sure you have filled in the correct e-mail adres

  3. Thanks for your feedback, it's much appreciated. I have reviewed the information from the link, made some changes, and can see that the Notification to User is now working. The Notification to Administrator still isn't working though and I'm not sure what else to do! I can see that the Gravity Form is capturing the information but it is remaining stuck in my Wordpress site. If I go into the Notifications section in my Wordpress site and re-send the information I then receive it via email. But unless I know a contact form has been completed I don't know to go into do this! Any further ideas on making sure that all Gravity Forms are received via email?

  4. Penny, since Gravity Forms does not actually send out the notifications (it's all handled via WP at the host level) you could try using this plugin to see if anything changes for you:

Have you also verified the notifications were not going into junk/spam folders?

  6. Hi guys,
The problem has been solved! I needed to disable email with my web host as I have my emails hosted through Google and the contact form was getting confused around where it needed to send the email. Once email was disabled with my web host, the forms started working immediately.
    Cheers, Penny
