I'm using GF to allow users to upload their profile data and want to 'merge' it into PODS but don't understand how to do that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know how PODS data is stored, so I couldn't even begin to approach that. You would have to find a developer that is familiar with both systems, and likely have them customize a link to fit your needs.
