Set featured image from drop down menu

  1. I have a post submission form whereby users upload an image and I checked the field so that it becomes a featured image.
I am wondering if it is possible for users to select an image already on Wordpress by choosing from a drop down menu for example and then making that a featured image.
Any suggestions would be very welcome!

You would have to write custom code to do this, both from grabbing the names of the already uploaded images, and then actually assigning them to the post. It would require intermediate PHP skills or higher to do all of this. We have a Job Board where you could hire a programmer to help.
