Setting Featured Thumbnail With gform_after_submission?

    Hello,
    I have a form on my local test site (sorry not public URL yet) that allows a user to select 3 choices from a drop down. Each drop down choice has a value assigned to it that corresponds to a image file which is then displayed in the body content.

    Example:
    wedding (value is wedding.jpg)
    birthday (value is birthday.jpg)
    graduation (value is graduation.jpg)

    I want to have the featured thumbnail image set based on whichever choice they selected.

    I believe this is possible using the Gform_after_submission, but I am not a developer so im not sure how to take the code found on this page:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Gform_after_submission

    and translate that into featured image = value of selected drop down.

    If anyone knows how to write this, I would appreciate it. If its a complex thing, I will even pay for your time.
