Settings: Enable Custom Registration Page

  1. Under Settings -> User Registration

I was wondering what purpose "Enable Custom Registration Page" serves.

I have placed gravity forms with the user registration add-on active on pages with out setting this and they work fine. Am I missing something?

  2. That setting will redirect anyone who attempts to visit your wp-login.php?action=register page to your custom registration page. If you don't set that, your page will still work, but some registrations could bypass your form and just use the standard WordPress registration function.
