Shopping cart for travel reservations in Español: Cart 66, Shopp or MarketPress?

    Hi All!
I am looking for a shopping cart plugin in order to manage my travel package and add-on products.

The idea is to use a cart plugin to showcase the products and to use Gravity forms so that the customer can send a request and make a pre-reservation/order.

Since I am waiting for an internal booking system from the headquarter I will only use this temporarily so can get the busines up and running asp.

So, I am wondering which of the following plug-ins do you at GF recomends and that intergrates well GF?

    Shopp, MarketPress or Cart 66?

I also need the Cart to be in Spannish even if my WP site is en English.

I think to set it up as follow:
Ad products using the Cart plugin
Create forms with GF collecting personal info
Adding products from the cart to the GF so the customers can pick the one of interests and accordingly to previous choice using conditional logic
Manage the reseravations/orders in the GF admin

I do not want the customer to use the cart or GF as a payment methods - only for pre-reservation/ordering and requests.

    Happy for tips and recomendations.
    Best regards
    Sammet

  2. Hi Sammet,

While not at all affiliated with the official Gravity Forms plugin, I highly recommend the Shopp plugin. It allows you to insert shortcodes into the product description. It also offers the ability for many different types of purchases, especially the virtual goods as you've described them.

Their support has always been good for me and I've been satisfied with their theming system. Only drawback has been their documentation which, while good, is certainly not great!

However, you may be over-thinking your needs. It may be easier to simply store the items as a PHP session to allow the user to create a "wish list" of sorts. This could be accomplished with the use of WordPress' custom post types to allow you to add and manage the items.

    Thanks for answer Manifestcreative!

After approaching each of the above mentioned cart plugins support, I have decided to organize my products using custom posts instead of any shopping cart as you recomend. Although Shopp also was my faviourite ;-)
Since I do not want any check out or payment options at the moment, I was told that a shopping cart would be superfluous.

    Thanks for help again!
