Showing category hierarchy using the category drop down

    Hello

Is there any way to show the actual category hierarchy in the form category dropdown list? The dropdown list just shows all categories in alphabetical order, which is really confusing and doesn't relate to the site categories hierarchy at all. I have had a look at the forum, but there doesn't seem to be any solutions, or similar issues posted in the forum. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

  2. It's not currently possible to maintain the hierarchy. Please see this explanation for the limitation:

    HI
    Thanks for your reply.

I have a 'fix' for this, I created a dropdown field (Post Fields - Category), with only the 'main' categories in the dropdown list. Then, I created some extra dropdown fields (Post Fields - Category), but using the 'conditional logic' option with the corresponding sub -category items, it seems the best way, or maybe the only way to break down a lot of categories that make it more logical/sipmle for our site users. I am still working on the form, so I cannot post a link at the moment to give you a demo.

    Regards
