I'm contacting you because after many investigations I could find any solution to my problem, I will try to explain (sorry for my english, this is not my mother tongue) :
I have a submission form on my website here : http://www.recyclart.org/contribute
People can send us ideas through this submission form with images attached and texts. There is two problems that occurs :
1. Many times (the most often), when people click on the submit button, nothing happen, the little wheel of death is turning and turning and turning....BUT we receive the submission ! As people think there is a problem, they send us many times the same submission !
2. Others times, when people click on the submit button, they got this message :
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.recyclart.org/contribute/
The following error was encountered:
Read Error
The system returned:
(104) Connection reset by peer
An error condition occurred while reading data from the network. Please retry your request.
Your cache administrator is webmaster.
=> BUT, the submission again is well received by us...so they submit another time the submission and we have a lot of duplicate submissions !
Normally, after clicking the submit button, people must see a yellow box telling them that we appreciate their submissions blablabla....
I have on my website (wordpress 3.2.1) WP Super cache activated, I desactivated the cache for the submission form but it didn't resolve the issue....
I have also WP minify and desactivated the minify of Javascript....nothing happen...
I have try a lot of things but cannot find a solution and the best....it was working at the beginning...in fact it still working as in all the cases we receive the submission of our readers but it is not very user friendly as submitters doesn't know if its ok or not.
Could you help me ? Do not hesitate if you want to test it...you could put "Test Gravity Form" as a subject of your submission !
