Subscription Reporting IPN PayPal

    Hello -

I have the PayPal add on successfully establishing subscriptions for a product.

On the PayPal website, their reporting system shows me every time I receive a period payment. With the gravity forms report, I only see the initial payment of the subscription, and not each subsequent payment. So. If a user subscribes to a daily shipment of widgets, gravity forms only shows me the initial subscription form submission and doesn't report the charge via IPN from paypal. Is this normal?

I would like to have gravity forms report on all payments received, but I didn't want to fight with it anymore if I am looking for something outside its scope.

    Thanks!

  2. It should report the recurring payments. It sounds like the IPN isn't processing. When you go to the IPN History in your PayPal account do you see the IPN requests for the recurring payment? View one and see what PayPal says as far as the status of the IPN.

Are other PayPal payments working properly? Are entries being marked as Approved or do they always say Processing?

I just started a New Subscription and there were two entries made into the database (Entry ID: 15, 16). Both Marked "Processing". A While later, Entry 15 was marked "Active" and updated with the paypal transaction ID.

On the paypal IPN History page there are two entries. One for "Created" (For the subscription) and one for the actual charge. Only the actual charge has a transaction ID.

I set this for daily, so I guess I'll see if there is a transaction reported tomorrow.

This is all within the paypal developer sandbox, in case things operate differently there.

    Thanks for all your help.

I forgot to include. Paypal reports the status of the IPN as "sent" with status code 200. I'll monitor over the weekend and see what it does.
