Substitute list for category dropdown

    Hi,

Using GF to allow users to add blog posts. Instead of choosing a category (from a well defined and limited set of choices) from the dropdown, how would I go about outputting the set of allowed categories as a list (which I'll then style with images).

So - user enters text for the post, and then clicks on a "Love" or "Hate" link to set the category to Love or Hate.

I'm reasonably competent with coding within Wordpress, but I just need a quick jumpstart as this is the first time I've used GravityForms.

  2. The Post Category field currently only supports a drop down display. It doesn't support showing as a list. We plan on enhancing this in a future release.

That's a pain - can you give me a hint as to where the relevant plugin code is - I'm fully aware it'll make upgrades harder!
