Tabbing through fields with MULTIPLE forms on page?

  1. So, here's a funny one I came across recently that I'm not sure if its something fixable or just a browser quirk across the board.

I have multiple forms on a page, one on the main section of the page and one in the footer that is always there:

If you try and fill out the main form and TAB through each field, the cursor continually jumps down to the footer contact form. Any idea why this is and/or if this is something fixable? Or does the keyboard's TAB key only work to advance through the form when a single form is present on the page?

  2. The problem is that each form has tabindex assigned for each field, and it's correct for each form, but when you have two forms on a page, the tabindexes overlap causing weird issues (which differ depending on which browser you're using.)

You can resolve this issue by using a filter to change the tabindex to start at a different number. http://forum.gravityhelp.com/topic/field-tab-order#post-9548
