I'd like to use gravity forms to make some sort of appointment form.
The idea:
- The form holds several checkboxes of companies you can make appointments with.
- When a user is viewing a company profile and decides to click the 'make appointment' button, he's taken to the form and the right checkbox is already checked. Could this be done with Gravity Forms? How to go about?
Would be great if this would be possible by passing a parameter in the URL or something..
being able to pass values to fields via querystring and variables is a feature we plan on introducing in one of the next releases. We are getting ready to release Version 1.1 so it won't make it in that release but it is tentatively planned for the 1.2 release.
We are getting ready to release 1.1 so once that is released we will begin development on the 1.2 release. Don't have a timetable right now. I'd say 2-3 weeks.
Just thought that I'd add my vote for this. I replaced my contact form with one made with Gravity Forms, but I really need to be able to fill in the reason for contact with a URL variable. I use links like contact-us/?reason=plugin+work
