taxonomy / multi-select only saves first selected term

The enhanced UI provides a nice way of selecting multiple terms. When populating a multi-select field with a taxonomy, I am able to select one after another, the terms are shown in the UI as separate "tags".

However, saving the form only saves the first selected term, the other terms are lost.
Using the text input field with enhanced UI on the same taxonomy surprisingly works as expected (I use an additional text input field for the "add new" function of my custom taxonomy).

Am I missing a setting or something? While the text input field has a "save to taxonomy" checkbox, the multi-select doesn't, I assume it is because you can't input new values.

We don't provide a save to taxonomy button in Gravity Forms. This is most likely part of the Custom Post Types add-on for Gravity Forms? If so, you'll need to talk to that developer please.

okok, but: you provide the multi-select drop down with populate with taxonomy, where it seems to be possible to select multiple (sic!) entries - but only the first is saved to the database.

    please read my post.

If it says taxonomy, we don't provide it. If you were using a multi-select on a form that wasn't tied to taxonomies then it would work as expected. I just tested this on my own development site, and it saved all my selected values without issue.

I created a multi-select, populated it with all the US states, saved my form, selected five states, clicked submit, and all five states show up in my entries page.

    Oh ok sorry.
I wasn't aware that the "populate with taxonomy" does not come from your core plugin. Too bad.
