Theme conflict with RT Theme 17 -- what now?

  1. After paying for a one-site license, I learned the hard way that Gravity Forms conflicts with quite a few popular WordPress themes -- or vice versa (whatever the cause, that doesn't make the problem go away).

GF apparently doesn't work with RT Theme 17, which I'm using for two clients. So, what do I do now? I love the promise of GF, but I'm too invested in this theme to switch. I've been developing in WordPress for over a year and have never found a plugin that conflicts with a theme or even another plugin. I had no idea that was even possible.

Can I transfer the license to another WordPress site? Will there ever be an update to GF that sidesteps the possibility of theme conflicts?

Maybe you guys should maintain a list of themes that are incompatible with GF. That might be a good first step so guys like me don't buy the plugin only to find out afterward that we can't use it.

    Thanks for listening.

We would love to be able to maintain a list of incompatible themes, but it really is a moving target that is impossible to keep track of. You can use your license on other sites. And Gravity Forms works with most themes. It is usually just themes that insert their own JavaScript where it doesn't belong that things start to not work as expected. Can you link to a site with that theme and Gravity Forms set-up so we can take a look? It might just require a simple change that we can help direct you towards.
