Theme Integration & Misc

  1. Hi! I have a couple of questions...
    1. Does the form posting play nice with various wordpress themes? I tried using TDO mini forms, but only the content field would show on the post page.
    2. Can you require that users must be logged in/registered to submit posts?

  2. Gravity Forms is designed to work out of the box with most themes. We can't guarantee it will work with every theme because it's impossible for any plugin to do that simply because of how themes and plugins interact. But it works with most themes without any issues, some themes may require some minor CSS changes. If the theme uses best practices, it shouldn't be an issue.

Gravity Forms doesn't have an option for a user to require a user be logged in/registered to submit posts. You would have to use PHP or another plugin (such as Justin Tadlock's Members plugin) to use access control to display the form. It is, however, a feature we plan on adding in the future as a form settings option.

I hope you end up implementing this feature soon enough given its way better to have this functionality being native and part of your plugin then having to rely on an outdated free plugin such as Members plugin, vote for that!

  4. @FanaticWeb We do plan on adding this as an option in Gravity Forms v1.5.3 as a Form Setting.
