There was an error while saving your form.

  1. My problem is, when i add a new field in my existing form which have a lot of data in it, i always have the same message : "error while saving" but when i create a new form it works properly. Do you have an idea? do you think i need to create new forms to replace the old ones ? I have some data in the table for the old ones. Please help me...

  2. If you are having trouble saving a form with a lot of fields in it, chance are you are running out of memory for your PHP/WordPress process.

Please see how much RAM you have available to both WordPress and PHP and see this article for getting more RAM http://www.nerdgrind.com/increase-wordpress-and-php-memory-limit/

  3. Not to highjack the thread, but I am having a similar issue with a form. Imported form with lots of data, checked WP Memory (128mb) and tried reimporting the form. Currently running Gravity Forms 1.6.11 and WP 3.5 (latest).

  4. When you say 'imported form with lots of data', what do you mean? When you import, you get the form only, not the entries. Or do you mean, you just have a very large form?

And what happens to you? Does the import work, and then something else does not work?
