There was an error while saving your form. (Also can't import)

I'm running GF on a multisite. I've not had any problems with it on any of the other sites (and I use it on almost all of the 23 sites. I went to import a generic form I use to get started quickly creating contact forms, and it said it imported just fine, but when I click over to forms, there's none there, just the message telling me to create one. I then tried just creating it from scratch and go the "There was an error while saving your form. Please contact our support team." message. Please help.

  2. Can you try creating a new form with just a single input on it and see if it saves alright? If it doesn't then we'll need you to check for theme/plugin conflicts. Instructions can be found here:
    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Testing_for_a_Theme/Plugin_Conflict

If you are able to create the form with just the single input just fine, then we'll need more details on what you are trying to do. What fields you are using, what you're entering into the field labels, etc.

I tried adding with just a single text line, and it gave the same error. The ones I'm trying to import are not very complex either. Basically just name, email, phone, subject, message, and they're all required, nothing fancy at all.

Well I'll have to assume it's a theme conflict, because all the same plugins are running on other sites on the multisite without issue. Any idea what kinds of things I should look for in my theme that would cause a conflict?

  4. Most of the time it's due to JS errors. Can you send me a WP Admin login and reference this post in your email so I can take a look to see if I notice anything. rob@rocketgenius.com

Okay, I've switched to the Twenty-Eleven theme, and no luck. Still can't save. I turned off the 2 plugins that were individually activated on that site, but I can't turn off the network-activated plugins and remove functionality from all my other sites. However, all the other sites are running those same network-activated plugins and Gravity Forms, without any problems.

I've sent you an invite to add your account to the site. You'll be an admin on the one that's having the issue: NFT Academy. The email will be from FiddlerSites.com or FiddlerStudios. Once you're in, let me know and I can make you a super-admin, if you need to see themes, or compare to other sites, etc. Thanks.

I saw you completed the registration and have upgraded your account to super-admin. Thanks.

  7. It looks like your database tables didn't get created correctly when you installed Gravity Forms for this site and that was causing problems when creating or importing form. I was able to re-run the database setup logic and that corrected the issue. You should be able to import and create new forms now.

Thank you so much! I use a plugin that duplicates a template site each time I create a new site. I'm thinking that must not've created the tables correctly. I'm going to try it again, and if it has the same results, I'll contact the plugin developer (http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/new-blog-template/) and have them better support Gravity Forms' tables.

What did you do to "re-run the database setup logic" so that I can do it, if the next site I build does this same thing?

  9. On the Gravity Forms plugin settings, just append &setup in the query string/url it will run the database setup logic.
