Think It's Possible? (Shouting Gravity Form Gods!)

  1. I've offered to help a friend build his Van hire website. His company is small but you have to start somewhere right? He has 6 vans in total which causes an immediate problem. He doesn't want to take orders in case he can't supply a van.

Mission: To build an enquiry form which gives an accurate price quotation and takes customer information (except credit card information).

Problem: The daily rate of the van change depending on the length of the hire. For example, a 1 day hire would cost £50 per day, a 3 day hire would be £40 per day and after 7 days of hire the rate drops down to £30 per day.

Question: Is it possible to build such a form? If so, how so?

We're good up until this point...

Problem: The daily rate of the van change depending on the length of the hire. For example, a 1 day hire would cost £50 per day, a 3 day hire would be £40 per day and after 7 days of hire the rate drops down to £30 per day.

I think I would create a radio button field or drop down field for the number of days you want to hire the van. Sounds like, from your example, that 1 and 2 days are 50 GBP per day, 3, 4, 5 and 6 days are 40 GBP per day and 7+ days are 30 GBP per day. Then use conditional logic to show a "product" (van) with pricing based on the number of days (drop down or radio choice.)

I think it's possible. You did not mention scheduling the vans at all, which is a whole other problem. Maybe you have already resolved that.
