Tickbox default state to unchecked

  1. Hi there

Is there any way to set the default state of a tick box unchecked? For instance an accept terms and conditions link that needs to be checked manually.

Currently using the standard checkbox field. With the choice field blank (eg. so it reads "Accept our T&C's etc etc [tickbox] " without displaying any choices).

A separate field for single checkboxes could be a handy a feature just as a side note.

  2. If you do not check the box in the admin, it won't be pre-checked on the front end. Check this form:

(sorry about the formatting in IE - just noticed a problem there)

If you do check a radio button or check box (or check boxes) in the form builder admin, those selections will be presented as the default and pre-selected on the front end.

  3. How does one UNCHECK an item on the admin form builder? I checked on of my radio buttons and can not turn it off. Tried ctrl-clicked to no avail.

  4. You could always remove that option and add it back in perhaps so it's unchecked again.

  5. Hi,

I was searching for "Checkbox Unchecked" and found this thread. It seems to me that this is the same problem: I cannot uncheck a single checkbox. Do you have a solution: http://www.valan.de/Produkt/valan-t-shirt/

    thanks

  6. wow I found the solution in my next search result... sorry to bother you but in the end I figured out that it was actually happening because I hadn't put anything in to the checkbox's value - the label can be empty!!
