total field does not tally and only integer quantities are allowed

  1. Hi,

    two problems:

    1. total is not displaying correct value and displaying correct calculations [sum of price*qty for each ingredient) (I also have 'total checker' field, which is fine) This is critical to get fixed quickly

    2. I need to be able to input variable number of ingredients and also to have non-integer weights (eg 1.25kg. The weights can be 0-12kg so a dropdown is not pretty. I can enter non-integer in the form but when I try to submit the check comes back with error to say non-allowed

  2. Does your form work correctly when you are not incorporating it with Woocommerce?

  3. The same problem shows up when I just do form-> preview, ie the second ingredient is entered as total despite the fact that quantity for second ingredient is zero. The calculation does work OK but the Total field that I added via 'pricing fields' pikcer does not show the right total

  4. How do I get some support around here???????

I posted TWO days ago. I get one simple question in that time and NO response? This is a joke. WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?????

Now I try and isolate site, replicate on another sub-domain, and I cannot even get gravity to activate.

If I need to pay to be heard that is fine - just tell me.

    WHERE IS THE SDUPPORT?

We are doing our best. We receive hundreds of requests every single day. Please be patient. We endeavour to respond to requests as fast as possible. Please read the following: http://www.gravityhelp.com/support-times/

As for your issue, can you try to recreate the form without WooCommerce? We need to figure out if the issue you are having is a WooCommerce one or a Gravity Forms one.

Can you also walk us through how you've built the form? Are you using Product fields or a combination of Products and Options? An Option doesn't have a quantity and is seen as a quantity of 1 by default.

  6. Hi David,
I have no issue with you guys as individuals, but the response times are a challange. Thnx for getting back to me.

I will strip the entire page back to basics and re-start, then will report back.

Additional question: when I tick the option to display values in the price field, the initial number comes up as the price (good), but after I make a value choice then the values change to deltas - ie the difference between the current price choice and the alternative. Can I change it so that the 'absolute' price value is always displayed?

  7. Hi Ben. We'll wait to hear from you on the first part of your last reply.

For the additional question, I don't see the pricing you're referring to. With Gravity Forms, the prices for a product are never shown, but the deltas for the options are shown (the additional cost or savings for adding that option to the product.) Can you point to which numbers I should watch for the change from absolute price to delta? Thank you.

  8. Hi Chris,

After a total strip down and rebuild, using simple product and QTY, the form works. On your query,
I did have an option in there, prior to the rebuild yesterday, and used that to show deltas, but I have now opted to simply add the price after the name, so that users can see it there.

One final question - how can I format what gets sent to the shopping cart? The current form output is quite messy for an operator who has to enter and mix the ingredients ordered.
    Sample current output:
Enter specific notes for your mix here::
mixture is for the pasture meadow #2
    First Ingredient:
    Crusader (9,00 €)
    Quantity:
    2
    second ingredient:
    Clover Blend (9,10 €)
    Quantity:
    1
    Third ingredient:
    Barblanca (9.00)
    Quantity:
    1
    Looking for an additional variety?:
    Yes
    additional ingredient:
    Nubucco (3,05 €)
    Quantity:
    2

    DESIRED OUTPUT:
Note entered: mixture is for the pasture meadow #2
    First: Crusader (9,00 €) 2kg
    Second: Clover Blend (9,10 €) 1kg
    Third:Barblanca (9.00) 1kg
    Additional Nubucco (3,05 €) 2kg
    total 33.20

  9. Can you forward an actual email notification please to chris@rocketgenius.com so I can see what it looks like (without dealing with formatting issues here)? Is the notification coming from Woocommerce or Gravity Forms?
