Total values not appearing in Confirmation message

I'm using the Paypal add-on for two forms, and I have duplicated one of these forms for non-Paypal payments (i.e., direct bank deposit). To do this I just dupicated one of the existing forms (which works fine), but did not hook up a Paypal feed to it.

The form works well and shows a total value at the bottom of the form. But in the confirmation screen and the notification email, the {Total:6} field never shows a value.

From what I've read on the forums, it sounded like the Pricing fields were part of GF 1.5, and not necessarily tied to the Paypal add-on??

  2. The Total field should be maintained on both the confirmation and notification email. I just did a quick test with a form I created and it displayed the total correctly in both the confirmation message and the notification email.

Since we are unable to recreate the issue locally, we would need access to your site in order to test on your site. If you can send us a WordPress admin login via our Contact Us form we'd be glad to take a look and see what is going on.

Just to close the loop on this item, the problem was appearing in Firefox only (not IE or Chrome), and was caused by a malformed HTML tag that I had added to the form. I had a link with the HTML tags .....<a/> - as soon as we changed it to ..... it all worked fine.

Thanks David for your help and assitance in finding the problem.

    Cheers, Bruce.
